East Kent is the new commuter belt. DFL's (down from London) are finding beautiful houses at reasonable prices and within a one hour commute to London. High Speed 1 mean that journey times from East Kent to London St Pancras are:-

Ashford to London 37 minutes

Canterbury to London 60 minutes

Folkestone to London 50 minutes
